The following terms apply to every rental agreement with Den Biker. By accepting the bike you agree to these terms.
Renter and ID
- Renter is at least 18 years old and presents a valid passport or driver's licence.
- We note name and date of birth; the ID document is not retained or copied.
Rental period
- A day rental runs from 09:00 to 18:00 the same day, unless agreed otherwise.
- Late return is charged per started day at the standard daily rate.
Use and duty of care
- The bike is used only on paved roads and cycle paths in the Netherlands.
- Lock the bike at every stop with the provided lock, even for short breaks.
- Loss of lock or key: €25 charge.
Damage, loss and theft
- Damage caused by the renter is charged at repair or replacement cost.
- In case of theft the renter is liable; police report and the lock must be handed to us.
Cancellation
- Free cancellation up to 48 hours before. After that 50% of the rental sum, unless agreed otherwise.
